The City of Coslada has launched the Festival of Contemporary Creation ‘Coslada Radial’, an initiative to support the artistic creation in the city, as well as to promote the creation of new audiences in Coslada, and intends to consolidate itself at the beginning of each season, as one of the city’s reference festivals.
In this first edition, which will be held from September 16th to 19th, the Coslada Radial Festival will have three important pillars: the artistic and technical residencies (Dance, Theater, and Music); the local creation, that includes workshops between the inhabitants of Coslada and the creations of artists from Coslada, and that of external productions.
The three main blocks of the Festival are aimed at both the participating public (in the workshops and debates) and the audience (in the performances and exhibitions of the workshops).
The activities of the Coslada Radial Festival, which will be free, will take place on September 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th of 2021, during the morning and the afternoon, in unconventional spaces both outdoors and indoors.
Juan de Torres, director of Larumbe Danza, has been in charge of curating the dance activities, a collaboration with the City of Coslada that we have called Radial Danza:
